At Shortnotice Studio, we combine an non-linear graphic‑design approach with the practical requirements of client‑based projects. Whether we’re developing a museum exhibition layout, building an archival website for an art school, or crafting an artist’s book, we treat each commission as an opportunity for knowledge production and creative exploration. By embracing tight timelines and diverse briefs, we allow space for both intuitive discoveries and thoughtful problem‑solving.

Our work spans small‑budget, single‑artist publications to large‑scale institutional projects. In every case, we prioritize platforms for voices that often go unheard—artists, educators, and communities whose perspectives enrich the cultural conversation. Materials, typography, and digital interfaces become tools for dialogue rather than mere decoration, guiding audiences toward insight and connection.

Alongside our studio practice, we teach at institutions such as the University of Education Karlsruhe, HGB Leipzig, and Kunsthochschule Kassel. These teaching experiences ground our work in ongoing conversations about design’s role in learning and social engagement. By weaving together client needs, permeable processes, and pedagogical exchange, Shortnotice Studio stays nimble, reflective, and committed to collaborative discovery.
